Refund Policy

Refund Policy – Indian Institute of Brand Management - IIBM

At the Indian Institute of Brand Management (IIBM), we strive to deliver high-quality education and ensure a positive learning experience for all our students. We understand that there may be instances where a refund is requested, and we aim to handle these requests transparently and fairly. Please review our refund policy below for details on the process.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be requested under the following conditions:
• Course Cancellation by IIBM: If IIBM cancels a course or program due to unforeseen circumstances, students will be entitled to a full refund of the paid fees.
• Withdrawal Before Program Commencement: Students who wish to withdraw from a course before it begins may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on the timing of their request (see section on withdrawal timelines below).
• Non-Attendance: If a student does not attend the course without prior notification, no refund will be issued.
• Technical Issues: If a student is unable to access the course due to technical issues beyond their control (such as platform errors or accessibility issues), and these issues cannot be resolved by IIBM, a refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

2. Withdrawal and Refund Timelines

• Before Course Start Date (30 Days or More):
If a student withdraws from the course 30 days or more before the start date, they are eligible for a refund of 80% of the paid fees. A 20% administrative fee will be retained.
• Within 15-30 Days Before Course Start Date:
If a student withdraws between 15 and 30 days before the course start date, they will receive a 50% refund of the paid fees. The remaining 50% will be retained to cover administrative costs.
Within 15 Days of Course Start Date or After the Course Begins:
If a student withdraws within 15 days of the course start date or after the course has commenced, no refund will be issued.

3. How to Request a Refund

Students who wish to request a refund must follow the steps outlined below:
1. Submit a Refund Request:
Send an email to info@iibmglobal.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the following details:
o Full name
o Course enrolled in
o Reason for refund request
o Date of payment and payment details (transaction ID, amount, etc.)
2. Processing of Refund Requests:
Once a refund request is received, IIBM will review it and notify the student within 7 working days regarding the status of their request. Additional information or clarification may be requested from the student during this review process.
3. Refund Approval and Payment:
Upon approval of the refund, the amount will be processed within 14 working days and refunded using the original method of payment (credit card, debit card, bank transfer, etc.).

4. Non-Refundable Fees

• Registration Fees: Any registration fees or one-time administrative fees or material costs paid during enrollment are non-refundable.
• Late Withdrawal Fees: If a student withdraws after the course begins or within 15 days before the course start date, no refund will be issued.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

In some cases, IIBM may consider refund requests that fall outside the standard policy for exceptional situations, such as:
• Medical emergencies or serious health conditions
• Family emergencies
• Other unforeseen and exceptional circumstances, evaluated on a case-by-case basis
In such cases, documentation may be required to support the refund request.

6. Courses Purchased Through Third-Party Platforms

If you enrolled in an IIBM course through a third-party platform (such as an external course aggregator), any refund requests must be directed to the respective platform. The refund will be governed by the terms and conditions of the third-party platform.
